ARKANSAS: Greer’s Ferry – topwater bite good on Worms, Jigs & C-riged Lizards

The water level at Greers ferry is at 462.56 and falling that is 1.53 feet above normal pool.

The hybrids and white bass are back to eating better than they have been due to the recent rain and cooler water temps and more oxygen , use topwater baits ,in-line spinners, grubs, swimbaits as well as spoons, find the bait and the fish will be close by, and just be patient and you can catch some.

The bream bite is good shallow as the full moon spawn is over and they are guarding the young and eating crawlers, catalpa worms, crickets, crankbaits and topwater baits shallow as out to 27 feet of water

The recent rains should help the walleye bite, try crawlers dragged on jighead and try a drop shot rig, with crawlers on in 23-48 feet of water.

Catfish are still good all over the lake as most bait at a lot of depths will work.

Crappie is suspended in pole timber in 15-25 feet over 60-100 feet of water and will eat jig and jigs tipped with minnows

Bass fishing is good shallow, they are up chasing bream and the topwater bite is good as well as the deeper bite, on worms ,jigs and c-riged lizards  from 15 feet out to 50
